I got this for my kids for prime day. The deal was pretty good and the shipping was very fast. We did use it for a little while with sand on the sand side and water on the other side but eventually it just became easier to just fill the whole thing with sand. They have a really good time with it with their little excavators and construction toys pretending that they’re at the quarry. The lid is pretty secure and I like the drainage in the bottom. The one time that it did get left open it rained and it was easy to drain the water. My only complaint that I have is the umbrella is way too small. My children are five almost 6 years old and they are very tall for their age. It doesn’t provide enough shade coverage so I used a larger beach umbrella that I have that is taller and wider and that provides enough shade for them both while they play.I have a 10 year old and a 2 year old now I talked about getting this my 10-year-old wasn't super excited about it but then when she saw it and I filled it up she loves it and played with it for a good hour the first day we got it and my 2-year-old when she got home and saw it was so excited. I love that it covers the whole thing I don't know why this isn't a thing for all water tables and sand tables there should be a complete cover so that when Mom say no you can't play with it right now that there's a top also when it goes outside you don't want animals getting into it and cats peeing in the sand and stuff so it's really important that it has a cover plus it's easier to keep the water cleaner. We like to do a lot of sensory Play we like to do slime orbeez playing shaving cream bubbly water we want to try kinetic sand oobleck we just do a lot of sensory stuff in the buckets were great but they made such a huge mess when I used the buckets plus it's hard to find a place to store all those buckets. this is absolutely perfect it doesn't really show it in the picture but there's a little bit of a slope around the sides with a tiny little bit of an edge and it makes a whole lot less of a mess! When I was using buckets on the floor and played with orbeez there was literally orbeez everywhere within minutes but my girls happily played with this with a mat underneath it for a while and of course they don't try and be careful either and there were some orbeez on the floor but nothing like before. I literally have no complaints about this water table I'm very happy with it I'm very glad that we got it and that I chose this one. also love that it has two slots right now we currently have one slot filled with orbeez in another slot filled with water. if I had to complain about something the only thing I would complain about is the little bridge that goes on it is made to be moved easily so that if kids didn't want to play with it they didn't have to but the problem is that when they do want to play with it it just falls off so easily that it's almost impossible to play with and that was frustrating my 2-year-old quite a bit so she just uses it as a slide now thanks to her big sissy who came up with the idea. And also I can't stand it when you go to put something together and find out there's no pre-drilled holes I'm one of those people that can't stand putting furniture together or any of thing of the sort and I just can't stand it when they do not pre-drill holes LOL like I bought this water table I did not buy a Dyi project ???But still absolutely love it I have it in my kitchen with an absorbent mat underneath it. every couple of weeks I plan on putting a new sensory thing in there and I love that the cap is on and that the cover has it there so that the times that I'm cleaning and we're all done playing they can't get into it when I'm not looking LOL. It's not just placed on top it has little loops that tightly go around these two soft knobs that stick out of the sides so that it sticks on tight. Easy for an adult to take off but would be challenging for a little kid to take off. I can't even decide if I want to put this outside in the summertime or not because it's so great having it right there in the kitchen so that I can cook two laundry clean dishes will they have something to do without making a giant enormous mess! well depending on what's in it lol they might get a little messy themselves but at least it's not all over the floor and everywhere ?? and ask for fun well obviously it's fun cuz even my 10-year-old didn't think it would be fun but yet she's loving it! Of course she has to sit on her knees or sit on a chair to play with it but she doesn't seem to mind it beats sitting completely on the floor to play in a bucket.I like the design. Water and sand. Kid stay interested in their play time. Happy busy kids....happy parents.Pretty easy to set up. Love how it has two separate areas and little roads for cars - however it’s really annoying how the bridges don’t click in! They barely rest there so they are sort of pointless and just call off when you barely touch them. Other than that it’s not garish and looks cute in our yard, and our daughter loves it. The umbrella is great.This one is so much sturdier it will last for many seasons.This was a gift to my year old grandson. Good present because he can use it now bud continue to use as he grows and gets older.This was a gift for my grandson. He loves it!I thought the kids would get less wet then playing by the small pool i have.. well not so.. they got soaked…. And that was not the purpose..Excellent for my grandchildren ages ranging between 8yrs and 2yrs. Each side has it's own plug to allow for drainage of sand or water and I found this quite quick and easy to do by simply placing a bucket under the sand to capture it to re-use. I did buy extra toys even though some came with the table. Love the fact that the lid is a good tight fit and keeps out the rain also doubles up as a play table. Price was great as had shopped around and these are so much more expensive elsewhere. Very strong and durable plastic. A great way for children to learn safely.I would highly recommend this item also the seller as it arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. My Son put it together straight forward enough too so the little ones didn't have to wait too long to get splashing around. We even added some bubbles to the water which they loved.An excellent sand and water play table, perfect for my 3 year old grandson. Very sturdy, and the lid secures well to keep it clean and dry. My husband assembled it easily. The only annoying thing was the price, as the only one I could find available was double the normal price. All others were out of stock. Grandson enjoys playing with it, and I’m sure his little sister will too when she’s a bit older, and hopefully future grandchildren. At five months old she just enjoys grabbing handfuls of sand at the moment.This is great fun for the little fella, keeps him occupied! With the unusual spell of hot weather the parasol helps to keep kids playing in the shade but obviously doesn't stop the need for sun tan lotion to be used. The main product is made in the USA with accessories made elsewhere. The table is well made and fairly easy to put together. The legs slot in and are held secure by a single crosshead screw to each leg. The lid covers both the the sandpit as well as the water with elasticated straps at either end. There are drain holes with attached plugs on the sand and water section. Don't forget the play sand. Well worth the money I paid!Easy to assemble, option to weight legs for even better sturdiness.Umbrella was a big hit as their garden is full on sun all day. I bought this one as it seemed that it would last for a few years and he would grow into it. Some are not as tall. Cover was also very helpful as it stays clean for days of play rather than needing refilling all the time!Really lovely play table - well made, very easy to assemble and robust. As our granddaughter has just turned 1 and not walking yet we took the legs off and she's using it at floor level which works just as well.
