I used Camelbak bottles in the past but didn't like how the nozzles opened. I didn't like having to twist to open them, or the ones that are always open but need to be squeezed to shoot water out. Call me old fashioned, but I like to bite the bottle and pull it open with my teeth then smack it against my handlebars to close it.I like how the nozzle can be removed to thoroughly clean the bottle. The little loop handle is a nice touch, but I wish it connected to the lid as well as the bottle so that there is no chance of dropping the lid when it's opened.Perhaps the shape of the bottle could be a little more interesting, but it's a bottle. It holds liquid, and it keeps it cold longer. I have no gripes with it. It was less than 15 bucks. What more could one expect?Compared to a standard Water Bottle, The Insulation actually works pretty well. I live in the desert of the Las Vegas Valley. A standard bottle filled with water, that was placed in the refrigerator overnight, gets warm within a 1/2 hour. These bottles keep the water cold/cool for a good 1.5 hours. Anything longer and you need to add ice before the ride. The little "sippy spouts" are tough to pull open. If I take a drink at a stop/rest point, I will just unscrew the whole cap/lid and take bigger gulps. On the fly, I will usually just leave the little "sippy spouts" pulled up (open), for the whole ride. They clean up well and do not "Keep" flavor in the plastic. I sometimes use the powdered "Emergen-C" additive in the water, and the residual flavor/smell washes right out after the ride.I use this walking my dog and the ice is always melted by the time I’m done with the walk. Usually during an hour walk, it’s melted by like 30 mins after. Bottle works but won’t keep your drink cold for too long. This is a great bike bottle. You can remove the squeeze valve for cleaning as needed, and it has a good amount of volume to it. Unfortunately, the bottle top is a bit too flimsy when it comes to installing and removing it from the body of the bottle. When installing, your hands may compress the top to the point where you think you've sealed the bottle, but you in fact have not. When removing it from the bottle, it can be difficult to unthread because the force from your hands compresses the top against the bottle threads. It's not too bad once you get used to it, but it does require finesse.Dishwasher safe stands up to heat and cold. LIFETIME replacement warranty. keep liquids cold twice as long. What else could you ask for?Keeps water cold for about an hour in the summerOkay, besides t hi s bottle doing what it should (hold liquid without leaking) it is also easier to squeeze compared to a prior bottle ordered.I’ve bought a few now, which should state anything better than I can put into words.I was looking for something BPA free that would work with the mountain bike and golf bag. Affordable price and keeps the water cool!
