I see photos informing me some people got the straw to work, others popped on something they already had or soon after acquired. I spliced on some 1/2" I.D. pex with a piece of vinyl water hose coupling and zip ties.My jugs sit in the fridge and are full of reverse osmosis water, and this pump fills my 64 oz. Walmart thermos exactly to the line.It's worth every cent but the silly included straw should be at least 1/2" to get it to work consistently aside from the wicked solid flow I get!Very easy to use and set up. It’s very convenient with the automatic 600ml dispensing option. The noise is not bad when getting the water. Besides it’s only for a little while. I have something similar at work and am super excited to now have one at home!Instructions are little hazy but it’s so easy to figure out without them. Insert the hose into the cap opening, press the button to run and press again to stop. The lower the water level the louder the sound but even at its worst it’s far quieter that my k-cup machine which sounds like a .38 being fired each time you close the pod lid. I charge for 5-10 minutes maybe 2 times a week and we are prolific coffee drinkers so you can see how well it holds the charge. think this is one of the best things I’ve purchased on Amazon.It pumps a steady stream of water and ( promptly shuts after switch is depressed a second time ) after they finally charged up. I am using one of the two I ordered. I am planning to use the second one for a spare so I am not without one because it is hard to use the manual one. Then when I use the second, I will reorder two more.I like this product because it is easy for my children to use. My only problem is that it doesn't fit the top of the 3 gallon container properly.Sucks right up, i like itUsed one last year on a hunting trip and it worked great. Eight days of use and the battery was still going strong. Bought one for myself for this years hunting trip. It was nice to have running water to clean up and do dishes with the push of a buttonDid not work
