I doubt anything on this website should have a perfect 5 star review, obviously there are drawbacks to any product. That being said, my ONLY issue with this product over the year or so I've owned it is that the lid squeaks when you open/close it, but there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it when you put metal on metal. This has survived multiple drops with no damage other than some very slight dents and scratches. If you're buying this to keep your drinks cold, buy a double-walled thermos, because this will not perform the way you intend. Basically just trying to address the previous bad reviews that I feel the product doesn't deserve. Great product, would buy again if it werent so bulletproof ?‍♂️The quality of this bottle is very good and it is exactly what I was expecting when I ordered it. A couple things to consider when looking at this bottle.The lid is made to titanium and has coarse threads. It works well but initially it can feel a bit rough. I have had no problems with it sealing and it is loosening up with use. I have other titanium bottles with the same issue and over time the threads get smoother. It is very disconcerting at first.This bottle is light but not super light. I think the weights are comparable to other bottles of this size in other materials. It is on the lighter side of the spectrum but not a big difference. The neoprene cover it comes with makes it bit heavier - more on this later. The reason for getting this bottle is that titanium is tough and therefore less prone to scratching and denting and it is very inert so the water doesn’t get any flavors from it.Titanium is quite thin and very conductive which means that this bottle does not hold heat or cold very well. It isn’t deigned to so don’t buy it as thermos bottle. Because of this though it is prone to sweating. That is if you put something cold in it there will be some condensation on the outside. It does come with a neoprene cover which helps with insulation and thus stops the condensation if this is a problem for you. The cover will also provide some level of insulation but this again is not a thermos bottle. The cover is well made and fits snugly. It does add some weight and bulk to the bottle.Another reason for using the cover is to further protect the bottle when using it against scratches or dints or from clanging around. Titanium does have a tendency to be noisy in that if i hits things it does clang a bit compared to plastic ones for example. Having the cover on will obviously prevent that if it is a problem for you.Overall, I am very happy with this water bottle. A couple very minor things I would recommend as improvements as follows:-The mouth opening could be a bit wider. It seems narrow but is a standard size. The narrowness makes it a bit tough to see the water filling up and when it gets to the top.-Add measurement indentations along the side. It would be nice to be able to measure how full it is. This is a bit tricky though as you cant see the fill from the outside and it is dark on the inside. Making the mouth wider may help as mentioned above. So while it would be nice it is not a simple thing to solve and make it work.-With the neoprene cover on it does have a ring for connecting it to things. The lid does also have a d-hook on it. I wonder though without the cover if the d-ring on the lid is strong enough to hang the bottle by especially if it is getting rough handling. I am sure it is but it doesn’t inspire confidence.So I'm not going to lie, I bought this water bottle purely to look cool. There's no practical reason to have a titanium water bottle, when toxin-free plastic water bottles are readily available and insanely light (not to mention cheap). That said, is there anything more awesome than titanium? I couldn't resist. And I know my friends will be jealous when they see it. Call it sad, that's fine, I'll even agree with you. But there are few joys to being a middle-aged man. Let me have this one.Anyway, the bottle itself is fantastic. I got the slim style with the narrower top, and I love everything about the way it looks. The screwtop fits perfectly, precision manufactured. I don't know what else you could really say. It's a titanium water bottle and it's freaking awesome. It's super light, and a high capacity that will be very useful to me on backpacking trips. I'll pack it in and out empty, and it'll be just as great as my current plastic water bottle that will now never be used again because I spent a lot of money on a titanium one instead for no good reason.I appreciate that it comes with a thermal sleeve to keep liquids cool or warm, but I'll never use it. I bought a titanium water bottle to have a titanium water bottle, not to hide it in a sleeve. Plus the sleeve adds weight. Why buy an ultralight water container and then add weight to it? So it's a nice touch, but will just end up in a cabinet.So if I love this ridiculous thing so much, why 4 stars, you ask? It's because of the texture on the main bottle. While the neck of the bottle is smooth, the rest of the bottle has been textured very slightly, like a very fine powder finish. It looks really great, like the epitome of titanium gray, until you touch it. The texture causes fingerprints, water spots, etc to be accentuated. I can only imagine how grubby this thing will look after applying sunscreen and then taking a swig. I'm sure the company decided on this texture for functionality, and I have little doubt the texture will help with grip. But it's kind of a bummer to spend so much on a titanium water bottle and know that most of the time it will look dirty. So while I acknowledge that the company has my best interests at heart here, I kind of wish they hadn't. As I said, there is no practical reason for this object to even exist, so you might as well make it look as nice as possible and give it a smooth finish that will stay clean-looking.very lightweight bottle as it should be made from titaniumhowever there's two downsidesfirst - very squeaky top that is not easy to closesecond - some funny smell/taste after factory ..went away after two weeksSuper lightweight, so practical, doesn't leak at all.
