So, I am a total snob when it comes to my travel cups.I was blessed to have a few that served me so well, I haven't even purchased new ones for many years. (Lid finally broke)After much research, I decided on these for a variety of reasons.I love that these are open pour, as I hate the straw design.I love that these hold 8 more ounces than my former ones, but actually feel lighter. The color is fabulous, and the exterior has a great texture, and does seem to take a hit well. (I am tough on mine)However, there are some cons...but not enough for me to hit them on this review.Does it keep cold things cold for 24 hours?... No. It can in optimal conditions, but not in real life. However, I live in Arizona. LolThe ice lasted the day (it's only May though), while outside in the sun. So my drink was good and cold, but I filled to the top early that morning. It would not have made it through the evening hours.I personally don't see how I can expect more than that knowing they used a thinner material. (Hence being so lightweight)Also, the braided handle looks cool and all... but I struggle with leaks when I use it. That said, the handle attached to the lid works perfectly fine. Those are my only grievances, sooo.... I'll use a bit more ice.BTW, I used the second one for coffee on a road trip yesterday. Wonderful!Had my cold water...hot coffee...and perfect weather to be at the lake fishing. ?I have now started using the second one for my morning pot of coffee. It's a perfect fit, keeps it so hot and ready to pour. That's when I decided they deserve the full 5 stars. LolI love them so much and will be getting more! ?
